Rita & Dave Roberts started the North Liberty Orchid Shop out of their home. She ran it successfully there for years before moving to the current Sugar Bottom Bikes location in North Liberty. Bud & Carol Sueppel purchased the shop over 30 years ago, bringing new ownership while keeping the same commitment to quality and community. Same flower knowledge, same steady hands, same care she brought from day one.
What 50+ years looks like:
This shop existed before North Liberty expanded into what it is today. When it started, the town was still small and mostly residential. Now it's a growing community with new developments, schools, and thriving local businesses. We stayed through all of it.
The storefront moved once, from downtown North Liberty to our current location right off the main highway. It's designed for how North Liberty customers actually shop: they know what they want, they grab it, they're out. We're set up for that.
Both of our locations carry the same products: containers in every style, memorial items, candles, seasonal pieces.
